Shelf Supported Catwalk Storage SystemCustomer: United States Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, VA
Project Details: This customer needed additional space to store their aircraft carrier maintenance parts inventory while the ship is overhauled. During this overhaul period, the aircraft carrier supply technicians are still required to issue, track, and maintain these maintenance parts, so easy access was a requirement. We designed a two level catwalk system with the combination of closed adjustable shelving for “binable” items, open adjustable shelving for modular drawers that contained small parts, and also a sizeable pallet staging area. As part of our installation services, we also provided power outlets to both platform levels as well an enhanced aisle lighting system. |

Boat Maintenance Shop Storage MezzanineCustomer: United States Army, Fort Eustis, VA
Project Details: The customer's maintenance and warehouse areas were out of space, so after a thorough site visit we recommended two freestanding mezzanine platforms. The platforms doubled their storage capacity as well provided them with additional space for future growth. The installed systems were fully modular and allowed the command to relocate the entire structure to their new facility a few years after completion of the initial project. |

Warehouse Archives and Storage MezzanineCustomer: United States Navy, Naval Station Norfolk, VA
Project Details: This customer had limited warehouse floor space but did have considerable warehouse height available. In order to satisfy their growing storage requirements, we recommended the installation of a freestanding mezzanine platform. The installation was challenging, as the mezzanine would have be installed over an old asphalt runway inside the warehouse space. We were able to provide an engineered storage solution with the proper concrete column footers to support the structure. The customer now uses this platform to provide increased modular drawer storage and record archives. |

Training Platform for Security Forces SiteProject Details: This project challenged us to provide the customer an engineered freestanding training platform, while staying within the tight confines of the training footprint on the main floor level. Also, the floor space available for installation was irregularly shaped. With the assistance of our manufacturer and the experience of our leading sales manager, we were able to deliver multiple storage platforms that provided the customer a functional and safe training area. We also installed wire cage system for the storage of the command's training gear.
